DEFENCE TOWERS
Basic Laser can be upgraded either Pulser or THEL [Tactical High Energy Laser].
Basic Laser – Minerals:100 , Range:90 , Damage:30 , HP:200
Pulser advantage is fast attacking speed, great against missiles and mini enemy ships.
Pulser disadvantage is short range, impossible to attack mothership with long range laser beam.
Pulser 1 – Minerals:100 , Range:110 , Damage:12 , HP:300
Pulser 2 – Minerals:150 , Range:115 , Damage:14 , HP:500
Pulser 3 – Minerals:300 , Range:130 , Damage:16 , HP:900
THEL is the opposite of Pulser. Slow but powerful. Great against mothership.
THEL 1 – Minerals:500 , Range:200 , Damage:1 , HP:400
THEL 2 – Minerals:800 , Range:290 , Damage:5 , HP:600
THEL 3 – Minerals:1000 , Range:390 , Damage:10 , HP:960

MOTHERSHIP
The most powerful enemy ship which is able to produce small fighters and shoots laser like THEL.
To counter it, build and upgrade THEL and Pulser. THEL deals with the mothership long range attack.
Pulser attacks the mini fighter, allowing THEL to focus his attention on the main body [mothership]

MISSION 6
This video shows how to defeat 20 motherships without losing any building. The key strategy is building and upgrading solar energy to level 2 instead of 3. SE1 provides 30%, SE2 provides 70% while SE3 provides 100% energy. SE2 is much efficient as it provides +10% extra energy for THEL to spam laser against mothership quickly. The repairshop repairs damage buildings and distract mothership laser beam. Pulser Level 3 is to remove mini fighters that distracts THEL laser from the mothership. Money/Mineral is well spent!.

Setup energy relay network first. You can link energy relay with another.
After completing your network, start building your defense or miners. From here on, you can’t build relays!

    Seriously,6-8 missile launchers is so much less work and so much more effective. The only times missile launchers are not effective against Mother Ships are when you are dealing with successive waves with increasing defense/hp.

      the missile launchers uses 5 m so if you dont have any m the missile launchers wont fire

    Ayumilove, there is a foolproof strategy to beat the last several levels.

    When enemy ships come, build basic lasers as many as possible, DO NOT upgrade. After eliminating the wave, recycle them(some or all). Then do the same when the next wave come. Upgrade one or two to THEL if mother ships come. Rinse and repeat.

    The reason? Basic lasers and power links have 100% recycle rate. This is crucial if there are limited minerals, as in the last level. In the last level, I lost 5 basic lasers, 3 THELs and still have 1000 minerals to spare in the end.

    Unit parameters are unbalanced, which breeds this infallible strategy. It really took fun out of playing. I quit playing after completing the campaign.

    Building 8 Missiles and fully upgrading them works just as well at level 6. No need for any additional power sources …

      Power sources draw enemy fire.

      The enemy ships have no AI at all, mother ships especially. They attack the closet target.

        My bad, I though you were talking about power links. Pardon the mistake, I haven’t played it for a while.

        Power sources are needed for THELs.

        Alternatively, 3 power sources and 3 fully upgraded storage batteriesare also adequate to support several THELs. 3 minutes is long enough to fully charge all of them. But I don’t know which way is cheaper.
